Meet reindeers, feed them, listen to Sámi history
Our partner “Lyngen Sami Camp” welcomes you into our large lavvu.
Here, you’ll be taken on a magical journey through Sámi storytelling, performed by Sámi dressed in traditional gákti.
You will also experience the fascinating art of joik, which conveys culture and tradition in a deeply moving way.
To keep warm in the atmospheric lavvu, we serve campfire coffee along with a selection of hot and cold drinks.
This is a unique opportunity to get close to Sámi history, culture, and traditions in a cozy and warm setting.
You will also have a wonderful opportunity to observe reindeer up close, pet them, feed them, and take photos with them.
