Overnight stay with Sámi storytelling & campfire
Our partner “Lyngen Sami Camp” invites you into our large lavvu (traditional Sámi tent).
Here, you’ll be taken on a magical journey through Sámi storytelling, performed by Sámi people dressed in traditional kofter (clothing).
You’ll also experience the fascinating art of joik, a unique vocal tradition that powerfully conveys Sámi culture and heritage.
To keep warm inside the cozy lavvu, we serve campfire coffee along with a selection of hot and cold drinks.
This is a unique opportunity to get close to Sámi history, culture, and traditions in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
You’ll also have the chance to see reindeer up close — to pet, feed, and take photos with them.
After the storytelling, we’ll move outdoors to enjoy the bonfire under the open sky, with great chances to see the northern lights dancing above.
